CCSS has been providing services to assist the homeless population in Detroit since 1988.
Their services have evolved and currently provide food, skill building, jobs, vocational training,
free medical care and sleeping accommodations to over 400 men, women and children.

Date: leaving Resurrection Life Church Friday October 17 at 7:00am,
returning Monday October 20 at 5:00pm.

Cost: $75 per person for the entire trip. Payable to Resurrection Life Church by October 10.
Includes all meals (except Friday lunch), gas, accommodations (dorm style, bring a sleeping bag or sheets and a pillow).
We eat at the shelters with the guests and sleep in the basement of the church, (just our group)

Who can attend: Adults over 18, children over 12 (must be accompanied by a parent)
Must be an active member of Resurrection Life Church and fill out an application and a release of liability form. 

Goals: Allow God to work through us by serving those less fortunate.
Also, to have fellowship with our church family and to have fun.

Itinerary: Our tentative daily schedule is on page 2.
Types of activities we will be doing include, but not limited to: cleaning, painting, moving furniture,
building and grounds maintenance, preparing meals, serving meals, and anything else that needs to be done. 

What to bring: Bed linens, work clothes and shoes (no open toe),
work gloves, towel, soap, snacks, bible.

And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need.
