What is baby dedication?
A Baby Dedication is not baptism.
It is a ceremony in which believing parents make a promise to raise the child according to the Word of God.
Why? God delights in children. He takes great pleasure in them.
In His eyes, they are one of the greatest gifts given to the husband and wife.
Psalms 127:3 proclaims that "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him."
Because children are a gift from God, it is scriptural that a Christian family
present as well as dedicate their child to God.
