“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge
of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord,
fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;”
- Colossians 1:9-10 ESV
Many people are anxious about making decisions and seek the Lord for insight,
but the answer does not always come by fixating on an individual decision.
There are times God gives specific guidance for certain decisions,
but in most cases He wants us to make decisions that align us with His purposes.
Clearly, we must know God’s will for His creation. Thankfully, it is not a mystery.
Paul summarized God’s will right after his prayer so the Colossians would know what He was praying for them.
